Reasons to be cheerful 1, 2, 3...


Well I missed last weeks coz of the problems with blogger but I'm back and blogging this weeks reasons to be cheerful!


1. I was made a fabulous birthday cake
Susie is the eldest daughter of the family I live with and she and her friends made me an amazing sweet-covered birthday cake! It was a complete surprise and it made my day!


2. I've had so many messages and cards and presents
I've been so touched by how many people posted on facebook or sent me a card or a gift. People from my church, people from AYME, friends and family it's so amazing!

3. My boyfriend has come to stay for two nights =)
We live 3 and a half hours away from each other so we don't get to see each other very often, so this is a lovely time just to spend time together =)

    Happy birthday to you! Hope you had a lovely one and enjoyed your time with your boyfriend. Great reasons to be cheerful.

    I am a recovered ME sufferer. At the weekend I power walked a marathon for Breast cancer research through the night in less than 7 hours. Had someone of told me I would be doing that 18 years ago, I would have summoned the energy to laugh at them as I couoldnt even walk to the bathroom the, or climb a flight of stairs instead relying on crawling or being carried by my dad. There is hope, I suffered from the age of 12 to about 18, then started the road to recovery. However it was back in the 1980 when MR didnt even exist and everyone termed it yuppie flu or stress. Once Me became recognised and I was diagonsed my recovery began as I got the right advice, help and treatment. I enjoy reading your blog and like I say keep strong, keep positive, hard I know, but it will get better. x
